Vibration on a 93 dakota sport 4x4

Default Vibration on a 93 dakota sport 4x4

I have a vibration problem that started in the rear end and know i am feeling it in the steering wheel. it only happens between 2 and 3 grand sometime hire. cleaned all dirt and stuff from the rims, rear drum all the drive tran and still have problem. Anybody got any ideas?

Check your u-joints and maybe the pinion bearing.

I have check my u-joint on the rear axel. and that is fine. there is no play in the shaft at all when trying to rotate it. How would i know that my bearing is out with out ripping it apart? I do have bad cv joints and the boots. could that be my problem that they are so far gone that they are causeing the vibration. The vibration increases in 4wd.
