Default 88 dakota will not idle

hey, I have an 88 dakota 3.9 2wd. and it will not idle. it shoots out black smoke out of the exhaust and it smells like gas. I know its running way to rich. it started sputtering abit when I came to a stop a while ago, now it will die. I read up on past threads and found some stuff but not anything helpfull enough. It sounds like there is a vacuum leak but I replaced all of the hoses that has cracks in them. anything under 2000rpm's it will shooot out back smoke and sputter and die. when I'm driving it has lots of power, its only when I'm slowing down and stopping. I have to leave it in neutral and keep it around 2000rpm's when stopping or it will die. I did the key thing to get the codes and heres what I got. 1-2-2-2-3-3-5-5. I know 12 means that the battery has been diconnected and 55 is end of codes. this truck is a real headache.

this truck is only out for a couple of weeks until I get my new truck out from the bodyshop.
if anybody has any suggestions I can do that doesnt cost too much that would be great.

also when I unplugged the temp wire it still ran the same. some one told me that it should shut its self off.

I finnaly got it to run better. my buddy told me to clamp the rubber fuel line goning into the trottle body a lil bit. and it worked perfect. then I took it for a test drive and about a mile later it died. so I unclamped the fuel line and it still wont start. I tried dumping gas down it and it will start for about 5 seconds then backfire and die. so I've left it there and will deal with it tomorrow. I dont have the patients for it now.[:@]

change the fuel filter and the air filter put a bottle of Fuel system cleaner in the tank and that might help and retarding your timing might help you from running rich but I'm not too sure
