wierd engine lite

Default wierd engine lite

the other day i was leaving for work cold morn about 10* f . i pulled out of the driveway the lite came on and the truke stalled restarted right away the light stayed on all the way to work but she was running fine when i got there i checked the codes and got 2 new ones.....
new,code 22
new,code 47
what are thes codes?
old,33 no a/c deel.
when i left work the light was off and hasnt been on sins

other prob is when i get going in a cold moter it putters and dosnt want to pick up from 15-25ish mph but only for a short time 1-2 bloksafter thatshes good

22 Engine coolant temp sensor out of range
I would try and replace the sensor and see if that helps

46 Charging system voltage too low
I'mguessing it's this code. but checkalt. or battery

Yea, code 47 is basically the same as code 46. Some places show code 46 as being battery voltage too high, some show it as too low. The 1990 manual says too high. For code 47, it says the charging systemoutput voltagewas detected to be too low.

Oh yea, remember, for the coolanttemperature sensor: its not the sensor that is on the right (passener side) of the radiator hose (which will have a single wire connector), that one is for the temperature gauge/warning light. The correct one is to the left (drivers side) of the radiator hose, and will have a two wire connector.
