Default need more help with my brake system.. PLEASE!!

I still can't get any fluid out of my rear cylinders. I've even tried with a vaccum pump. my neighbor said the master cylinder is shot, we tried taking the brake lines off at the master cylinder and useing the vaccum pump started pumping to see if the lines were clear and they were.So that's why he thinks it's the master cylinder. I also talked to my buddy's dad (who's a mechanic) and he said that it's vaccum lock in the master cylinder. He told me how to bleed it but what am i looking for to know if there's pressure or not? will the brake pedal sart getting harder to push down? What can i do? Please help ANYONE I need this truck bad and can't afford to put anymore $$$ into it.

it could be the proportioning valve. mine got stuck on me when I did the brakes on it and no fluid would get to the back when I was bleeding them. so I replaced it and everything worked fine. I would try that.

Here are the shop manual pages on bleeding the master cylinder, combination differential/metering valve, and component location.
If you don't have the adapters to do the master cylinder. fill the reservoir and submerge the master cylinder in a container of brake fluid that goes above the ports on the side. Use the wooden dowel to operate it and look for bubbles from the ports. Make sure to keep the resevoir topped off; if it sucks air you'll have to start over. You can also lift it out (keep it above the container) to see if it's pumping fluid at all.

i found out it wasn't the master cylinder. I bled it and it seems fine. I replaced the brake lines in the rear and still no fluid will get to the back??? I don't know what to do this is so frustrating I can't even drive my truck now!!

where is the proportioning valve in my truck? And can i replace it myself? All I can find in my haynes manual is about the height sensing proportioning valve which it then goes on to say my vehicle doesn't have because i have anti lock brakes.
