Default Exhaust Options for 02 SXT

Hey I'm new to this forum and was hoping to get some advice on what others have done to modify their exhaust.
I recently added an aFe Cold Air Intake SystemsStage 2 CX Kit - Progressive 5 Layer on and its been great, just looking for a nice exhaust set up to add to the sound.
I have a 2002 SXT with the 4.7 Liter V8 4x2

Any advice on what I should do and where to buy it would be much appreciated. I've looked at a couple of kits that replace the stock exhaust but would love to do a dual set up. I'd like to keep the cats if possible.

Has anyone on here thrown a Flowmaster or Borlar (sp?) exhaust on the 4.7? any advice would be appreciated...

Thanks!

I have the same D. I put a Flowmaster on and it sounds great, just did the muffler no cat back system. I also did a Volant CAI, much better response, ans a small change in MPG.

Hope this helped.

I had a magnaflow on my D. I liked the deep tone, but it was a bit too quiet for me (it was the 24" case). I also didn't like how the sound changed a lot. I was looking at the cherry bomb/imco extreme, but feared it would be too loud inside so I went with the cherry bomb/imco pro muffler instead. It's louder than the magnaflow and has a nice aggressive tone but no droning/resonance inside. I love it. Sorry I don't have a way to load sound clips for you.
