Default is my blower switch going bad?

Last month the first setting on the aircon blower **** didn't work. Now it's the 1 and 2 setting. Right now I'm always putting it on the 3rd setting. I'm just wondering if it's just the switch that needs replacement.

And does anyone have a write up on how to change it?

Do a search on blower motors. It should just be the resistor. Look in the 1st gen durango section.

The blower resistor needs to be replace, because the resistor is what gives you the diff speeds. You will find it under the dash on the passager side.

ditto +3

Your blower motor resister is blown. Easy fix since it doesn' require replacing the blower actually. Search for instruction.
