Default Idling Rough

Bought my 2002 5.9 Durango back in July and notice that it really idles rough. I don't have any codes, so I don't think it is the O2 sensor and I just replaced the exhaust and ran some fuel injector cleaner through it a few times. I also replaced the air filter. What would you suggest checking next that is the cheapest route? Spark plugs and wires? Thanks for any suggestions.

Plugs, wires, and the IAC valve. do not go with cheap wires, use either OEM, MSD, or Accel. As for plugs go with the stocker champions or autolite 3923's.

Never heard of em but they look like they would do the trick and summit doesn't sell a whole lot of crap, how much are the MSD wires though? I couldn't imagine them being that much more $$$.

Where would you get the MSD wires and which one? There seems to be many different part numbers abailable for the 5.9L.

umm according to my dad all modern cars that are controlled by a computer (ECU) are liable to idle rough on occasion, he even had his truck idle so rough that it almost stalled on him the day after he bought it, and it hasnt done it since,

and also the o2 sensors can go bad w/o throwing a code

Just do MSD 8.5 mm wires and you'll be fine. The ones you were looking at are like 10.4 mm so unless they are royal crap I couldn't imagine them having a problem delivering a nice spark.

Which 8.5mm MSD wires? There are many different part numbers and I haven't found a site that lists anything but Universal Fit Application for the Durango.
