My wife owns a 2000 Durango SLTwith a 318 V-8, 2 WD, we just started getting a check engine light, we are getting a P0443 Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction. What the heck am I looking for to make this annoying CEL go away for good?

A vacuum leak going to the purge solenoid or a bad purge solenoid.

 

Or an open/short in the wiring or poor connection at/between the PCM and purge sol.
