Well in your reference 2001offroadram i would suggest something different being that your symptoms are more mechanical. First look at your warrantee, im fairly sure it should cover it. Even if you do have a deductable that'd be the way. Just talk to them and ask them what to expect, would work be covered etc etc.. $80 general or $100 cover is the choice i'd pick over a $3,300 collision claim any day...

NP, great to hear it helped. All i ask is just be safe, if the braking system feels awkward like its not working correctly get it looked at.

Welcome new guy. It is likely not a fan but the ABS module by the master brake cylinder mounted near the firewall drivers side that is stuck on cycling. You need to pull the fuse for the ABS before it drains your battery or burns up the ABS motor. Your ABS module will probably need to be replaced or rebuilt. There are company's that do it for around $100. I personally tried a rebuild service and they were not able to get it right after 2 attempts. I ended up getting one on Ebay for around $100. There are wheel speed sensors that tie into this module but every time I have seen a ABS module stick on constantly cycling it was a bad module. There are ohm readings for the sensors that can be checked with a multimeter. You haven't provided enough info as far as exactly what Durango your gf is driving.
