HELP!! ASAP Engine failure

if you add 5 quarts and wait about a minute, it'll be right on the top of the full mark on the dipstick. also if you check it after the vehicle has been parked a while, it'll be perfectly full at 5 qts. when i drain the oil i pull the plug and leave it out a good hour while i meticulously check the other fluids, grease fittings, u-joints, etc... can't tell me the oil isn't drained in that amount of time. but it really doesn't hurt to overfill them a little like you're doing, mine burns 2 qts. between oil changes because of the blown plenum gasket, soi might as well put in 6 qts for peace of mind.
and there's no reason it would be different from the 5.2L oil capacity, everything is identical.

Olen G: Just FYI, the 5.9's uses roughly about 5.5 to almost 6 quarts if you effectively drain your old oil. I change the oil out myself and the 5 quart syntec bottle was not enough and had to buy a 6th bottle.

I am not overfilling my oil. Unless I am being cheated by Castrol on their 5 quart container being a quart short, after filling 5.5 quarts, the oil stick shows oil fluid between the min and max level.
