Welcome to the forum.
Maybe ck the air pressure on your tires, 35 to 40 psi. Use your speed control when you can.

Cruise control isn't the best for gas mileage. When you go down hills it doesn’t speed up a small amount. Also when you hit the hills you can't get a run at it. You hit the hills, the cruise can't see them. So when you start to slow down your throttle pushes down farther to get you back up to speed. It you keep cruise off you can see the hills small or large and throttle accordingly.

As for mileage; You are doing the right things. Your mileage is in very close. May I recomend a 180 T-stat, True cold air intake or ram intake, new Champion Truck Plugs or champion OEM plugs, And hell maybe a performance tune up in in order.

12 mixed because I always end up in a rush to get to work. [:@]

If I kept my foot out of it I would get around 14 mixed...

Winter Blend Fuel, if you live in the North makes it a little worse.

I've done a tune-up, Autolite 3923 plugs(colder), 40psi in the tires, Magnaflow 14 oval muffler, and I turn the overdrive off in zones under 40mph.. it definately pays to keep your foot out of it.

Use the Cruise down the expressway, set it for about 65-70. Turn it off when in the mountains or hilly areas. I haven't done a CAI yet, really not good gains for me to drop 200+ on one.

I've been averaging 15.5 so far this Winter, city driving. My last trip out of state I averaged about 21MPG

Hope this helps, good luck.

Also, I forgot to add, if your truck has lower miles, I'd recommend swapping to full synthetic oil in the motor.

Full synthetic would be great. My problem is that I just can't keep my foot out of the floor board. I like that feeling.
