ok well heres the most recent update it wasnt deisel. it turned out to be a misfire, three in a row . BIG chain reaction. first i have a two peice intake maniflod that had busted the gasket and sucked in oil. thats what caused the white smoke. that caused the distributor to fry cap rotor plugs and some how craked my coil, that was probibly prior to the misfire. that crackedtwo valve springs and bent the **** out of another. my mechanic got the warrenty company to cover all 8 of pass. side. warrenty only covered springs and labor . i thought i was good waitingfor it to be put back together. then i get the call today that the diagnostic test showed that i had 150 psi in 7 out of 8 cyclinders and 120 out of the other, not bad. but they still had a problem with that cyclinder flooding out. did another test and the end result is that piston number 4 had craked. and there waiting for an inspector to come out in the next two days to confirm this. ill be getting a newer engine for replacement 62,000 miles i just hope i dont get another bad one. they said cause its not a newer vehicle and that its already got 107,000 miles that they would not give me a new one just a better used one. ahhhhhhhhh just bought the truck noteven 2 months ago, THIS IS THE FASTEST TRUCK IVE KILLED. should have stuck with chevy. has any one had to get a new or newer used engine replacment on there truck before please post back with your experiance!!

Did you actually READ your warranty to see what you're intitled to?
