NO MORE DURANGO!
Hey guys,
No question here just giving you some info I recently received. I went to a Dodge dealer the other day with a friend of mine who was looking for a car. So my buddy was split between the Charger and the Magnum and while test driving the Charger brought up the thought of the new Magnum. Well 07 was the last year for the Magnum which I wasn't aware of, and I asked for the hell of it about Durangos and the salesman said 08 is the last production year for the Durango and it is being replaced by the P O S Chrysler Aspen. I asked a friend of mine that works at adealer and he said the same thing. I can't believe this to be true, anyone else heard rumors of this?

The first generation looks like a bad *** tank.
I don't like the second generation.
To me it looks like a pregnant roller skate.

I dont think it will really matter one way or another.....it's a POS....and they should stop making it....
The first gen Durangos and 2nd gen Dakotas were great vehicles, but Chrysler screwed up when they made a new gen because they didnt make any real significant quality changes other then the Hemi for the Durango.
They just got boxier and heavier...

dodge screwed up big time with the 2nd Gen durangos. Everyone I met said they liked my 1st gen more than the 2nd.
Come to think of it, I haven't seen a 2nd gen durango on any of the jeep trails I go on. Occasionally I'll run across another 1st gen on them.
