i have a 2003 5.9L and for ppl who have thesame model, my problem isin my AC which is getting the outsider Air when AC is powered ON.

you know , i didn't find a bottom or something in my durango leads for Air controlling i mean if i want outside Air or inside...no such option.

could u pls tell me is that also in your D.
and any help pls

on the vent control knop there are two that say MAX, these pull air from inside the car instead of outside there is a vent door somewhere near the passengers feet that it opens when you rotate it to that position, otherwise you are getting outside air on all other selections, hope this helped

 

thanks dear shrpshtr325, i will be looking for the knop near to the passenger feet and i will do it MAX to see if i smell air from outside.

seems it's working, not sure yet but when i put it in MAX , the Air sound comes more and it delivers more Air and colder than in the normal inidcators.

will be pretty sure when i'm in crowed..

no mine is an 02 w/ the 4.7 but the max setting on the **** just opens a door that allows the air to be recirculated through the car instead of pulling it from outside

yea th ey didnt change much from 00-03 on the interior of these trucks they started in 98 with one interior and then switched in 02 and stuck with it until the end of this design so the internal workings are all basically the same
