I went with bilsteins andd I love them. Much better handling than the stockers but definitely a stiffer ride.

GH:

X2 on the Bilsteins. You can get them on Ebay for ~$260 shipped to your door, and they have a lifetime warranty. Good enough for the Dodge Ram SRT-10, and various Corvettes through the years. Good enough for our D's.

Do you all change out the shocks yourself? If so, how easy is it?

Okay shocks are something you canchange with confedence. This is the way I changed mine. For the front.First I Jacked the D up.I used Jack stands to support it. Then I unbolted the two bottombolts and the shock extended. Then I unbolted the top bolt using a wrench and a vise grip. Depending on your shock you may need an alen wrench or two wrenches for the top of the shock. Then to install the new bilstienshock I bolted the top first. Then used a floor jack to lift the new shock up to the mounting holes and put the bolts through the holes and tightened them. The rear was the same process. Let us know how it goes.[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

I just put on bilsteins today, and didn't have any problems. Did you lower the spare tire?

Oh ya, you can get bilsteins for under 200.00 delivered!! check shockwarehouse.com, not sure how long the promo lasts though

I am and I LOVE EM!!!!!!!

I run Edelbrock Performer IAS Shocks. They help in the corners as well as off road. The best multi shock you can own IMHO. My truck holds the corners like a damn porsche.
