Default Changing durango spark plugs

I have a 03 durango slt2wd 5.9l v8 durango, the check engine light ison and I was told by autozonethat itcould be the spark plugs or the fuel injection system. I would like to change the spark plugs first. Does anyone have any idea how I could change the spark plug?

Thank You

Hi, Just wanted to add to your thought,
I have a 2005 Durango, It was stalling and cuting out at fast stops. would run iratic at times, and was chuging at 45 -50 MPH..
(I Jumped started it while camping and thought it blew the computer.)
After getting the computer read, it turned out to be the EGR Valve, and by acording to the masses on here, its a big problem that Dodge wont adress.
Most places are backordered by 6 weeks ( Dodge Dealers too) if needed order it now!!!

There are no spark plug wires. Each of the 8 cylinders have 1 spark plug. Therefore, there are 8 spark plugs in all. You will need to only get Champion Truck Plugs, Iridium Plugs, or Regular Plugs. Remember only use Champion. Do not use any Platinum spark plugs. Remember to pre-gap your new plugs before installation.

Does anyone have a pic ofa Coil Over for him?

If you are not good with mechanics, I would take it in. But only put the plugs I told ya in there!

I have Bosch Platinum +2 - NO PROBLEMS. I guess there could be the difference in a 4.7 vs. a 5.9.

I recommend getting the champion iridium. I tried all three and so far, this is the best but also the most expensive. If your engine is tuned properly, you will quickly notice easy fast starts and very smooth idling from these plugs. they are supposed to be good for a 100k. Don't know if I will still have my D by the time the plugs wear out.

As I said, I have Bosch Platinum +2's in my D and haven't noticed any loss of power. If anything it has been improved.

I'll let you know what my MPG is next fuel up.
