you really shouldnt have any problems its very straighforward, and there are only 5 bolts which will only fit into certain holes so the chances of screwing up are very low

keep in mind the seat cover does fit on the cushion pretty tightly so be careful not to damage/tear it taking it off

What about the fact that it's a power seat? wouldn't that be a can of worms as well?

I've thought about maybe the next time I gotta take it to a mechanic that I'll just ask them to tighten it up for me or something if they get a chance and throw some extra money at them. I'm going to take a look at it when the weather gets a little nicer but for now just dealing with it.

the power seat is what causes it to wear and rock to begin with, and its actually not bad to take out of the truck regardless of it being a power seat

@Kensai: THANK YOU, THANK YOU. My 2003 Durango had the rocking seat problem, dealer quoted me $1,000+ to fix it. Followed your instructions, took me just under two hours (you're right those rear bolts are a PITA to shift, rest of the time getting the spacers to fit exactly, made from offcuts of plastic water pipe) and total cost $42, for the tools. Seat is now perfect.

Just wanted to let you know the info is much appreciated and has been successfully used

Great to hear. Just hope that plastic will hold up for you over time! The spacers I got from homedepot looks like carbon fiber type washers so I know they will never fall apart on me.
