JM:

Are you getting any check engine lights???

How old is your battery???? Our Durangos are extremely sensitive to a failing battery. Have it load tested, and if it shows the least bit flaky, or is more than 4 years old replace it.

Once it starts, will it stay running w/out keeping your foot on the pedal???

Don

could be a number of things. off top of my head:
failing fuel pressure switch--clogged fuel filter--clogged fuel injectors.

try some fuel injector cleaner to start--sea foam works well.
have your fuel pressure checked.
good luck...
