lol i probably deserved that one, but you know what i meant, it sucks having to wait for someone else to pump gas for you, and then wonder if they put the cap back on correctly(yea i do stop and tighten it at the first place i stop at after getting gas )

I couldn't take having someone pump my fuel.

It's like the manly thing and the service man isn't going to hold my man hood, ya know what I mean?

po455 is back again. i haven't been driving it for a few months because the wife drives it. well i believe she didn't tighten the gas cap so the code came back. but it's been off all this time. now that it is hotter i hope nothing is cracked again.

That time of year again. If it is cracked.... worst thing is... you might need a new cap. Remember check the obvious places, canister, canister hoses, evap hoses, fuel cap, fuel cap o-ring etc... First things first, Check cap for any obvious leaks, tears, damage, etc... Have A/Z or Advance cheak and clear code.

Good Luck!!

Steve

The simplest way to do a complete reset is by disconnecting the battery cables and touching the +/- wires (attention; the loose wires, NOT the battery terminals!!! You would be surprised) to each other for about 20 seconds. It will take the ECM anywhere from 10 to 300mls to complete its full self diagnostics to see if there are any error codes. And you will have to reset your stations after that.Good luck!!
