take a look at the IAC motor ont he back of the throttle body(underneath the air hat) when my truck did the same thing(my old truck) its just a dirty IAC just clean it off and put it back in(or replace it if you want to ensure that its good) the first time you start it you WILL need to put the pedal down until the valve has a chance to find its home position then the 2nd time you start it will be fine hope you can understand if not post back and ill see if i can go into more detail

The air hat is the part that goes on the throttle body that provides the engine with air. It is large and has a 4 inch pipe that goes on the end of it that goes to the air filter box. There is 1 screw (wing nut) that holds it on. Remove the air hat and the sensor is located on the throttle body (like a carborator) on the side closest to the cab. Take it out and clean it with brake cleaner of carborator cleaner.

Also you might want to have the battery load tested to see if it is on the way out. Most auto parts stores have a machine that they can take out and test it in your vehical for free.

If that doesn't work out pull the plugs. it may just need a tune up.
