I have to pull an engine mount, and remove most of the intake, and disconect fuel lines.. all that on top of wedging my hands between the motor (all 2.0L of it!!) and the inner wheel wells.. stupid transverse mounted engines..
I've been trying to get this done for almost 3 weeks now, but school has been getting in the way.. too many midterms and assignments.. School has slowed down, but the temp has dropped significantly in that time.. flirting with 40 degrees last week, today we're up to like 50 (I'm trying to convert from celcius to farenheit in my head so these numbers might be terribly off).. Prolly try to tackle this timing belt on the weekend, it'll be between 40-50 degrees ( about 8 celcius for those who understand my metric system)

Hey I have an solution that will get you close on conversion. Take celcius and add 32. So if it's 0 C outside then it's 32 F here.

So trueeee. Even with gloves i swear up a storm. When i swapped engines i couldnt get ahold of a thermo neck that ws 90* so i tossed it back on and regret it daily. I dont dare try to take the sleeve off, if i cant get a neck im soo buyin a new hose rather than dealin with that

Coongratssss broo, I ruined mine servicing my radiator and tearing everything out couple months back... If i only knew my local advanced auto had a fan nut wrench for an older ford that worked perfect.. In the end i went eeeelectric. I cheated though, removed the battery/box/ac to run my dual spectre..
so where did you put the battery/ box/
and it doesnt look like the ac is missing so i assume you put it back on? or not??
