what is the second battery for? And are your accessories painted or powder coated? Your water pump or idler pulley looks almost as if it is made of plastic..

 

1.Second battery is for reserve (actually three but last ones being replaced), my D's a power ***** sometimes (fogs/offroad lights/stereo/winch/power inverter/air compressor/welder/e-fan/etc etc) I sold my MG alt and will soon need a replacement for the one i have in it now.

2.They were painted when they were on the other block, just a quick coat though (yeah i know looks like a mess but my d's going "all go no show" off road wise soo much cheaper and easier to maintain.).

3.Water pump/idler- metal, the tensioner if not correct is the only plastic in the loop
