shutting off at stop signs

i will have them test the alternator, but i need a new battery anyways, this one has a lot of corrosion and looks like it is in pretty bad condition, i just wanted to fix this problem before spending money on something else, but if this could be whats causing my problem i might as well replace it now. good point about the alternator though, thanks for the suggestion, you could have just saved me a hundred bux.

Clean up the battery a little baking soda and a little water goes a long way just make sure you don't get any into the cells. I would say unless your battery is a dino and can't hold up to a load test go for as long as you can on it. No need to throw money at a new battery if this one still has a year (or maybe more) left on it.
