Question front abs going on

hey guys, great info here thnx. My problem is this, ive got a 99 D with5.9l 4wd, and 4wABS
.The front left abs started activating during the summer. for no reason and only on the 1 wheel. The brake and abs lights both came on too. I unpugged that wheel sensor, and obviously the abs stopped working for that wheel, the trouble lights also stayed on , but now the vehicle was driveable again. I recently found the bearing to be bad, so i replaced. Now with new bearing, and new built in sensor , i figured problem gone. But the abs going on again has started back up almost immediately.Whats the problem? I started thinking maybe the caliper was bad and was trying to lock up, and maybe thats why the ABS was going on, but then why would it brake fine when the sensor was unplugged? HELP

1st I would ck the connector at the ABS controller for water inside the connector, If you have water inside the connector, the controller may have already been damage. Next ck the ground wire on the driver side fender. The factory has ground wire facing down to 6 o'clock, you need to move to 3 o'clock. This is how water is getting into the ABS connector. If every thing look fine, then have the ABS module ck'ed for codes.
