I just changed plugs and wires in my 98 Durango and now it runs bad, it idels fine so it seems the CEL is on then when you start to accelerate it seems like it has a little vibration to it and not much power, then the CEL will start flasing. But before this problem started there was another problem of when I was driving down the raod at about 30mph it would start chugging I gave it a little gas then you would here a popping sound then it was fine, ant help.
This does sound like an ignition or air problem. Did you also change the distributor cap and rotor as well? How long has it been since you changed the air filter? It sounds like your not getting enough of something.
i run bosch platnuim in mine they run great with the mopar wires... sounds like a sensor is messed up
Well considering not all the engines run the same and all have their quirks, YOU are only the second one who has ever liked them. The other person I remember that had them was finally talked into pulling them and installing the correct plugs and was blown away. He installed them when the original plugs were fouled and thought they were ok until he swaped them out and had an eye opener.
I will say this a thousand times, DON'T BUY THE PARTS SUJESTED TO YOU BY THE PARTS COUNTER. They are paid to tell you that to sell their products and not to give you the best product!
