You love redline
aftermarket chargers.
Why not a sts turbo charger?
Rear mounted, high revs, easy install, cool pipes... Only thing is the tuning is the picky part.

If you want to push any real boost through that engine you will need to pull it apart and go with forged internals. A sc/turbo will blow that engine apart (as well as pretty much any engine that is N/A).

It's not advisable to red line a motor everyday!

Second, if you install one on that motor please refer to Greens comment. ^^^^

For that 4.7l, you could get the adjustable powerband for about $250. It will add some low end torque to the little 4.7. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...f99310a271709f

Powerband

Additonally, perhaps the Boost Bar instead of a turbo or blower. It's cheaper and will do about the same for you on the 4.7. http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...f99310a271709f

Boost Bar

Good luck!

Not being much of a gearhead but love quick bolt on hp, could someone explain what those do? The boost bar I'm assuming (dont laugh) is for more air? Anyone install any of these?

Check out the website and you'll learn all about it. (The whole site is a joke)

Blah blah blah blah.... xD

Cmon now silly, a stock universal turbo system, pushing "NO MORE" than 6psi (Which wont unless upgraded) is just fine on a stock v8 engine....

Why waste the money on a turbo if you're only looking to push 6 PSI though. You can cam an engine for less and get better gains than 6 PSI will offer . It's all about getting it into the teens at least.
