I tried a T45 torx and that was too big. Eventiually I tried a 5 mm allen wrench that worked.

Now I'm trying to get the calipers off. In the You Tube video, the guy monkeys around with a flathead screwdriver, prying the caliper up a little bit, then he manhandles off the rest of the way.

When I tried to do that, I met a lot of resistance...from a kind of spring clip assembly that doesn't appear in the video. Different calipers? The guy removed the clips and didn't include that part in the video? I don't know.

In another video, another guy said it was good to pry the piston down before you try to lift the caliper out.

This thing is different than my wife's Caliber caliper which came off easy as pie. Any advice on what to do to get the Durango caliper off?

i took a screwdriver, flathead and long shafted... and on the bottom where the pads meet the bottom metal bracket i t pried the pads up a little at a time till i could slip the caliper off... my pads have the same spring set up on them... so by pryin the pads off a little at a bit till they popped off it worked pretty good for me...

i circled in red what you should be looking for and prying on...

I guess it doesnt matter torx or allen as long as all of them are the same.
