All that does is change the speedo.

Hell, for 150 bucks you are better off geting a power programer and get performance as well as speedo for little more $.

I recommend Hypertech, Superchips, or SCT tuners.

 

It also says it can correct shift points.I was just interested in it because a lift kit and possible a gear ratio change front and back maybe in works in the near future.Never can have too much info on stuff out there and thanxs for the response,Hydra.

 

Just get a Transgo shift kit and install it. Better then any programmer could do in my opinion for a transmission.

The Trans in non adjustable. Take a better look into it for the 5.9L and 5.2L!!!!!!!

The only thing you can do is send your PCM into a company like www.bgperformancepcm.com but they can only remove Torque Management.

It is a false statement to say they can change shift points because the trans is mechanical and not electrical.........LOL

Now if ya want trany help in shifting the go with the Transgo shift kit. About $300 bucks installed and saves ware like you wouldn't believe. It's a REALLY GOOD PRODUCT. The next truck I get will get one as well first thing off the lot!

For the gear ratio topic a programmer or flash the PCM but flashing it you will have to stay with it. If I were you get the Transgo shift kit for sure then get a tuner of your choice but do your home work on the ones I listed. Each one has different attributes.

 

Hey Hydra: Exactly what does the Transgo Shift Kit do for the tranny. Mine seems to do too much searching when down shifting.
