When is the last time you changed out the PVC valve?

Also, pul the Throttle Body off and clean that thing including all sensors. While you have it off take your flash light and look down the intake manifold. A little blow by oil accumulation is ok but if there is a lot the it could be a plenum gasket. The olny thing is you didn't say if you use a lot of oil which again would point back to the gasket.

Here is a DIY on it.

This isn't related to the trans but
I switched to full synthetic and it drives a lot smoother
Keep in mind "D"s tend to shift firm

when it finally shifts it's firm but like i said it takes about 1000mi on the ENGINE oil change before it makes it's shifts like normal, at first it streaches out the last shift forever!!!! normaly it would shift 1.2.3.4, after the oil change it shifts 1.2..3...........4
hope that makes sense.

Yeah it may just be the trans. If you never had the bands adjusted, or any other detailed service done to the trans I'd say take it easy on it till you have money saved up for a rebuild

ok, but why would it only happen after the engine oil change after the engine oil has 1000mi on it then it shifts normal until the next oil change
