Default need advice!!99 durango

I cut out my cat and went straight pipe to a magnaflow. Will I have to do anything differant in setting up sensors and such. will the o2 sensors read correctly? My truck has been great and i don't want to **** it off any more.

Well I know this is what I would use....

If you just remove the cat, and possibly the post cat O2 sensor you will get irratic idle, loss of performance, and a never ending MIL light ...

Replacing them is not going to do a thing.

I am sure there probably is another way but that is the only one I know of.

This link has some things for tricking the ecu and also enabling you to set some parameters on your own...I've never fooled with the dodge o2 trickers but the I messed with some 5.0 ford stuff that worked pretty well as long as you don't over do it..I did run across sometrhing else about the last o2 not being used except to make sure the cat was there=I'll try to dig up the link I found on that..I like the link Shuster left=that looks like a very interesting device...

First and foremost, only thing removing the cat does is make it louder, actually i retract that, it also decreases performance a smudge. The guys at Dakota-durango.com can help you out with the whole O2 issue, i forgot what they did either leave the front O2 in and the secondary against the frame or somethin, idk. O2 simms are only made to replace one sensor so the other still stays in the upstream.

+1. No good reason to eliminate a CAT on the Durango. Stock Cats are high-flow and stainless as is. If it need replaced, go back on with a stocker and get another 200,000+ miles out of it.
