Default New guy here...

Hey guys, New guy here from ND.

Currently own a '95 magnum V8 Dakota bone stock and an '02 Durango with a few cosmetic upgrades.

Have owned a '98 neon, '93 V6 dakota

Joining the forum looking for ideas, mostly for the dakota as thats my off road truck, on upgrades.

Just thought I'd say Hi.... will try to get some photos up when I get home, just really bored at work right now.

Great to have ya.. hope to see ya help others with questions as well. Far as ideals? what exactly are you looking to do? are we building an all out trophy-truck or just something to play around with? a rock crawler?

As for sharing info... I dont know that I have much to share... unless its about jetskiis or snowmobiles, then I gotcha covered!

No rock crawling here in ND. Deffinately cant afford to build a show truck. I really like the off-road capabilities of the lightweight and power of the V8 dakota so I was thinking of trying to make it as "bullet-proof" as possible. Little more ground clearance, bumpers that can take a beating, rhino-line anything that could get hit, open up the motor a bit, fix the dreaded dodge paint issues....

As for the durango, I am really disappointed in the power (or lack there of) from the 4.7. Gonna look for some tips to make a little more highway and pulling power.

I am going to do some searching before I go askin', because I am thinking alot of this has been covered before... just thought I stop in and say hi first. My other PC is down right now so I dont have pics yet.

Well are you rich?

No really you can pick up a high clearance bumper that looks the same rather cheap.

Plenty of info on here for you to find on your engine..

Transmission probably be your most costly to make "bullet proof" (unless you want to go all out on the engine)

Not sure if you have a 4X4 or 2X4 but if you want to do some serious off roading I would look into getting a control arm package, Not cheap but oh will they do so much for an off road truck.

Well I can talk with ya on the snowmobiles subject a little.. She is not new and nothing fancy but sure will run, do about 110-115Mph, plenty fast for being on a snowmobile.. Really I don't think i would care to go much faster then that on one lol.. She only has about 1640'ish original miles
