You could drop the pan and change it to atf+4...Is it shifting weird?

Well it is not going to be an instant killer but you will want to change it out soon as possible. What you have put in your transmission is a fluid that has a lesser of lubricating properties. Your transmission requires the best and that is ATF+4 (it is synthetic). So, you can see where by adding fluid that should not go in can cause an issue.

Well I know manufacture says no additives.. I like Lucas, never used it on my tranny but used it for other things. I personally don't see where it will hurt but some here might say you should not do it.

Do a change.

The OEM is ATF+III but the Fully Synthetic version that replaced it is ATF+4.

You will need to drain, fill and run 100 miles and drain filter and fill.

Since you will be filling it up you might what to install this into the OEM pan to make it drain like a oil pan.

I love lucas tranny additive, but you MUST do the tranny adjustment to the bands..lucas will help but please adjust the bands I did mine after the lucas add and my tranny is like new=my truck has over 190500 now but I don't know if the tranny has been rebuilt or replaced etc..Lucas is good but do the band adjustment...

There so nice!

Better if you can tack weld the nut while it's out.

I don't like Lucus or any other additive period!
