Looks good but it does lower the actual lighting. I have seen this alot when i used to travel and let me tell ya it is not really that noticeable when the breaks are applied. You get a person who is not really paying much attention following you (you know the cell phone user, kids that are texting while driving ext..) You just may get a surprise from behind. But like I said it does look good, just pointing out the safety issue by doing it.

+2 on Schusters comment (And no, not because he is a fellow Indy area, LOL!!) But Street Legal and whether insurance will cover are two different things. It does look nice, and I would recommend for a show, but with all the knuckleheads out there on the road cell phone, texting, makeup, or just totally oblivious to their surroundings it doesnt sound very safe. Call me old school, but I prefer to be lit up like a Christmas tree when traffic is approaching me. Insurance companies will try almost anything they can to avoid a payout of a claim, and I could see them using this as a technicality.

With a sidebar comment, the body color looks nice, and looks like either real good light or you washed/waxed for the photo but +2 on attention to detail for the photo.

Mine were done professionally and I even had a back to back, stock vs. smoked test... Mine was actual clear coat with a drop or two of black paint... The light output was hardly changed at all... For the nightshades, I dunno... I did nightshades on my Jetta, and light output diminished greatly...

I saw that one user from cardomain with his tricked out durango, he used LED lighting to overcome lighting issue when he installed the dark tinting on his taillights.

I have been following this guy and his buildup over time. Started when he bolted on the OEM look 20 inch rims. Damn, this guy did alot to his ride. But I love his LED lights! Very bright even thru dark covers.

He's selling his sweet ride now!
