Are you getting the same temperature from both front and rear unit? If not check the blend doors. I know that both front and rear unit have heater cores. The back unit is famous for broken blend door, if the doors are broken that could be the problem. EVAPORATOR?

You might have to have it e-vaced multiple times to get all the water out.

CVESS don't go any further with this. The general rule of thumb is that if you can get 20+ degrees cooler air than ambient temp you are good. You will not get the temp any lower than that. You were able to knock almost 40 degrees off of the temp and that is very good. You took it down 20 degrees in moderate temp and that is acceptable. Leave the system be it is fine.

Replaced compressor (4th compressor), dryer (3rd dryer) and both expansion valves (2 sets) again.
Went with a different parts store on all the replacements.
The system blows a cold 42 degrees in the front and rear
Truck is like new again.

Mine ran outside temp 106 F and inside temp at 66 F with the A/C switch in regular position (not max) running the rear A/C as well. I also used a true calibrated thermometer.

-40 is good enough fer me...

There is no cabin filter on the Gen1.

Oh wait, doesn't HS have one of these under his seat?
