trans funkyness
Would after market parts such as installing a flowmaster exhaust change the way your trans worked? just wondering.
ok so i was driving up my drive way today, and i went a little too far so i switch the sucker into reverse to back up and then switched it into drive. and it acted as if it had a manual transmission with the clutch in. after i shifted back to drive it rolled backwards a bit and when i started to press the throttle a bit it moved forward but nice and smooth transition forward. so like no bucking or anything my only concern was why was it oging backwards when it was engaged to go forwards. like ti switched to drive and everything but idk lol. and i ahve a quesiton when you guys accelerate how do your rpms go? accelerating from like 30 mph the rpms race to around 4 thousand rpms and shifts then the rpms go up slowly but speed increases quickly. that how it works in higher gears? slow rpm rise but speed increasing?

1. No
2. If there is reverse motion or if on a hill, it can go backward even though your in forward gears. This is normal.
3. This is correct.
Most likely the install of your exhaust is making you notice things you didn't look at before. Also your hot on the throttle because you can hear it and it is going to your head........ huh?
This is normal and at the same time quite comical because I was there as well.....LOL

Use Full Synthetic in the diff's and don't forget the friction modifier in the rear diff if you have limited slip.

I tried to get a Mopar filter kit in my 45RFE when I changed fluid last month but the local Dodge dealership was out and could not even tell me when they could get them in. They were on automatic back order and not showing a delivery date so I had to go with one from CarQuest.
