That is a good one that will work with the 01 that's why I suggested it.

It is fine as is. 40-45k. You don't need 50k+. For what? Just to melt the plug tips prematurely??

Where do you come up with "40-45k" watts out of a OEM stocker replacement like Echlin IC410 coil, or did I read that wrong?


Anyway, I like MSD, but each to their own.

I'd go with MSD too if they made one for the 01, problem is they don't. Oh well, looks like I'm going with OEM.

Is yours a 2 pin connector?



It would appear that this MSD #8228 should work for your 5.9L engine, I don't see why it wouldn't?
