I have the 318 in my truck presently and im looking to switch to the 360. My brother in law has a friend that wrecked his truck with only 55k on it which has the 5.9 in it. He's telling me I can get the Motor, Trans, and Transfer case for under $1000. As soon as I get the money it will be mine most definately. My truck has high mileage and I think the 318 is just sluggish with my big tires.

I am in Northern VA right now, and heading out to Minneapolis, but I used to live in your neck of the woods. I was about 1/2 MI from ORP and have a real good friend in Clermont. I am pretty familiar with your neck of the woods. I went to my first NASCAR race at ORP in 2006.

Dave, just out of curiousity where did you get the trans rebuild? I used Edwards on Michigan and 79th and had pretty good luck after almost two years.

thanks Indy, I thinks this is a good deal for me, and I like my Durango.

On another note, my son just bought an 3500 dodge pickum up truck with the cummins it's a 2006 long bed, quad cab. Very nice!

The swap motor it's self will swap right in (same block) but if you want the whole thing then do it. You will need to flash your PCM to a 5.9L and trans if replaced.

Indy<------ Ya I know it was old school. As I look at AZ I find out they don't list it anymore. You should try to call AZ and see what they say on a partially rebuild motor dude. If I get time I'll try.
