I think I see how it Stands. Hydra prefers MagnaFlow. Indy prefers FM. Please Respect each other.
LET'S remember why we are here. We are all here because we love the Durango.

Indy i misused my words and i apologize.

I like Magnaflow, but I do not hate Flowmaster. Either one would be fine as long as you are not racing on the weekends where numbers are important,

Now that's scary to see two straight line guys in this forum! That means we won't be cutting corners anymore!

I have Borla and LOVE IT!! I just had my factory muffler replaced with a 2 1/2" center in/offset out muffler.
It was $40 for a muffler shop to install. It just has the perfect sound. I couldn't be happier with it.

HS, What part of the "HE WAS AT THE MAGNAFLOW TENT BUYING DIRECTLY FROM THEIR EXPERTS and he ended up GAINING NOTHING do you not understand?
Your post was about the final numbers and not power curves. This is the question I asked? Consitering that you don't know or that you didn't compair apples to apples at the RPM levels and you haven't stated that, I am assuming that you didn't look at it and cannot say either way. If you are seeing no improvements then the factory exhaust was already tuned and that guy shouldn't have paid for a system that wouldn't work. You can't blame that the tent techs because they are selling a product not trying to be your best friend? The issue here was this guy didn't do his home work flat out before going and trying something else. "This is just like buying a TB spacer and expectiong them to work with an MFI motor." If he installed a Flowmaster or any other brand still there would be no improvement.....IMHO

Since you have a Magnaflow, you must be 'thread blind' or something refusing to think just perhaps you didn't get what you thought you got. God forbid!
I talked about other brands as well as Magnaflow in my posts. I am not being one sided as I have said...."IMHO"

And as a Mod here, since FM is a sponsor here too, I would have thought you would give them a bit more love.
I am a site mod here at the DF. Now lets get this strait: Both Flowmaster and MagnaFlow as well as others are vendors here at the DF. I fail to see your point?

It wasn't MY test. Where did you read that I had numbers? I said it was first hand personal observation at the All Chrysler Nationals this July with other members of this forum there to see it too. I am telling you FM is better than stock AND that MF did nothing on a first hand observation. You can search and get all the other data you want.
Again I talked about a factory tuned exhaust in my other posts.....Please fully read.

With that, I am done "helping". Go ahead and tread blindly and buy what you want Pal. Good luck and enjoy your new muffler of choice. It's King Kong vs. Godzilla, Charmin vs. Cottonelle. Both are monsters, both will supposedly wipe a stock muffler's ***.
Any good name brand Hi Flow muffler will eat an OEM muffer unless it's tuned to the car. The owner you referred to has proven that point in full. Now had the owner done some intake work then "yes" it would even kick the tuned mufflers can. Like I said "I prefer MagnaFlow.....IMHO", I never said I hate Flowmaster or any other brand, buy what you like.

With that said and with you and I clearly on different sides of the feild "I aggree to disaggree with you on this subject aggreeably, ok?

Now no more outbursts and lets please keep this thread clean my friend.
