Then, my friend, you have some mighty morphing power tires! Keep 'em!

I really like that stout look! I have air bags so add-a-leaf might be my choice as well.

Have you had any issues with the CV shaft/axel angle after cranking the torsion bars? Are the CV shafts drastically altered? (sitting at a steep angle?)

Have you had any issues with the CV shaft/axel angle after cranking the torsion bars? Are the CV shafts drastically altered? (sitting at a steep angle?)

Hey everyone, I am new to this Forum--I just bought a 1999 Durango 4X4 and am going to install the "Adrenaline 3 inch torsion/shackle" lift kit. MY QUESTION is what do I have to do to the CV SHAFT AXEL ANGLE??? I know by replacing the stock torsion keys and "cranking them" it will put added stress on the CV shaft because it will change the angle. Does ANYONE have any experience with this? Will I mess anything up by raising the front end 2 to 3 inches with the torsion keys? Thank you so much for any help!

the triple post was very unnecessary

the torsion keys are a waste of money, just crank the existing bars and be done with it, 8 turns for 2inches is the most that you can safely get out of them.

as for stressing the CVs, yes it will a little big, but nothing that is worth being concerned about, the change in CV angle is not all that large.

hey guys so im getting ready to do a t/s lift. and i have a trailer hitch on my d that i never use, now i heard that you have to remove it in order to get the shackle bolts out. is that true? also i got a 2" drop shackle for an 89 chevy 1500. and i bought all new gade8 bolts and ton of washers. when i do the lift will it effect my e brake any? if so what do i need to do to adjust it? and my torsion bar bolts look very rusty. and i have been spraying them daily with liquid wrench penitrating oil. will that help get them off. cuz i absolutely dont want to brake em. lol. thanks.

What is the quantity of leaf spring that come because it does not say on the form?.

Your D looks great and I am now changing my plan and going with this rather then the shackle.

Default 33"s? or 32"s?

Hey guys, sorry about the triple post earlier, I am new to this forum and my original posts weren't showing up so I posted three times and then they all showed up at once. Sorry about that. Any how, NEW question.

I got some aftermarket torsion keys, installed them and cranked the t-bars and put the shackles on! My measurements show that I got just about 3 inches of lift. 2.9 inches to be exact. I currently have stock wheels and 31" tires...my question is, can I fit 32" or possibly 33" tires under there without rubbing? If 33" will rub, what can I do to "eliminate" any rubbing? Thanks y'all! I'll post some PICTURES after I buy wheels, just wanted to get your thoughts/opinions before I buy new tires.

you should be able to fit 32s 33s will likely rub pretty well

also if iw ere you i would take those torsion keys out and send them back, put the stock keys in and crank them for 2inches of lift (that is the limit of wha tyou can safely do w/ cranking the torsion bars)
