Head lights help

Welp, I have to say so far, my aftermarket clear lenss are still clear as a whistle and no moisture buildup. I have changed bulbs several times during testing to see what bulbs work best. But I have to agree with HS about blowing out the existing comtaminated gases from the headlights will work. But you have to make sure the air can you buy from the computer stores are not the freon type can air. You don't want any type of freon gas to replace the existing gas in the lens. Once you start heating up the freon type gas, it reacts to the temperature change alot more than existing air in the environment. It can blow out your seals in the lens and even cause damage to the lens inside or cause the bulb to prematurely burn out. Freon has slight oily residue which is bad for hot bulbs.
You will have to use either 100% CO2 or Nitrogen gas to blow into the lens housing to purge the moisture comtaminated air out. It may take up to 1/2 a can to do this to get it all out.
But a good recommendation when you change your bulbs, don't wait too long between the bulb changeouts to prevent moisture getting into the lens. Best time to change bulbs is on a good dry day if possible.
