Default rear wiper...?

Hey guys, so I went to replace my rear wiper blade on my '01 4.7 and I cant find one that will hook on corectly. The wiper will slide on fine but it wont secure. Whats up?

save yourself the hassle and just replace the rubber blade part of it and save the frame . . . the guy where i buy them sells ANCO products, and changes them for free when you buy the rubber, he broke mine but had one that fit . . . i still say change the rubber piece and be done with it

Read the directions in the box for the correct style setup.

I would just change the rubber part but the frame cracked so thats not an option, and Hydra...I tried two different brands of wiper, none had the right pieces to hook it up with.

Orrr.... You can do what I did, replace the whoel assembly and install a Gen2 rear wiper.

The blade clamps to the arm, you have to lift the little lever and slide the blade out of the clip. I don't know if the aftermarket makes a connector like it since it is so little used. You may be stuck buying the part from the dealer.

LOL! Still trying to get me into jerzey??? I thought you were #2 on the rear wiper club. That's according to your sig!

Actually, jj. The aftermarket wipers do come with all the necessary adapters for you to mount the new blade assembly. I used anco 16" blades for the back and I had no problems attaching them.
