In this photo I can see the rubber bushing (on the left frame mount) is pushed really tight against the 4 washers. Well the rubber is making the washers turn against each other (squeak!). In contrast the right side has at least a washer thickness opening between the mount and bushing.

I'm racking my brain right now trying to figure out how to make it not move other than installing square washers.

I don't think it's the washers. I lubed up the point where I originally thought was making the squeaking (where the paint is being rubbed off) with this high performance bushing grease I have and te squeaking went away. I would prefer the shackle to not touch the piece of metal and rub the paint off but idk if something can be done about it.

I don't have a caliper to measure my front sway bar. Is there a way to check the thickness? 2001 slt 4x4 4.7l . Online they sell bushings for sway bars that are 1.3" thick and 1.1 around there. I don't know which one it is though lol.

1.40" Bar on that says www.rockauto.com. Could be the 1.3" so either way.
