Default question about squeeks!

My front end squeeks when i go over bumps. How could i stop this squeeking?? its annoying as hell. I think it's coming from the 2 bushings that are around that fat sway bar looking pipe in the front. should i just lube those suckers up?

And question for those with a t/s lift using the 6400 belltech shackles.

Do your guys es shackles touch the metal part up top where the shackles bolt on onto the frame? mine touch and it makes it squeek a little bit. i hate squeeks. should i lube that up too? lol

thanks

the front sway bar bushing are a rather common problem on these trucks (that they squeak i mean) you can lube them with silicon spray if you want, but that is only temporary fix, ideally you would replace them with poly bushing which will last forever and never squeak again, but oem rubber replacements would take care of the problem too

Where could i get new bushings?

i had a noisy front end to and replaced all 4 of the front sway bar bushings with moog poly ones and it quit. just make sure you torque the outside bolts to 25 foot pounds if not the noise stays because of not enough play for the bar to flex. and lube them with a grease that wont wash away like marine moly

see up top where its rubbing the paint off? is it like that cause i didnt attach it to the most bottom hole? i plan to move the leaf spring down to the last hole cause my rear is a little lower than the front. Does not having it at the very bottom hole put the shackle at a weird angle where it rubs? when im at an incline it doesnt squeak.
