Cutting the cant wont help anything. You replace the cap and rotor? You replace the coil? Are you 100% sure your battery/alternator is good? You run through to check for vacuum leaks? Node the injectors? etc etc

did you check the upstream O2 sensors? they control the a/f mixture once the engine warms up

check fuel pressure, check to see how fast it bleeds off, you may have a ruptured fuel pres regulator.

You should be getting codes sets of some kind, misfire & o2 come to mind even if they are only sympethetic & a result of your real problem.

Are you sure no codes are being set & that someone didn't pull the bulb?

try to set some codes, unplug a cyl & try to get a misfire code, unplug an o2 sensor & see if it registers.

Do you have the means to observe the data stream? if yes can you post up idle data?

need more info, need results of all diag tests you have preformed. in the meantime STOP THROWING PARTS AT IT!! lets figgure out what it needs.

do you have a dvom or a scanner? at least a code reader? need to know what you have to work with.

if you can get data stream compare Intake air temp to eng temp. on a cold motor these should be within a few degrees of each other.

as the engine warms injector pulse width should narrow, injector on time gets shorter.

If you do find it is storing a code give us the freeze frame data, data frozen at code set.

the fuel pressure cold is 42 and warm 47, at first check engine light was on, took it to garage they said injecter 5 was bad, we didn't think that was all but they guarenteed it, went to pick it up they said they hooked it back up and intake gasket was bad, we took it home and replaced intake gasket.we have hand held scanner from advanced auto.

the abs light is on, been on the whole time.
could it be the module on the trottle body? cleaned out throrrtle body never changed module.
someone said to crimp return fuel line and test fuel pressure to see if regulater was bad, but no return line?
what do you think
