Now that I've had the identical problem, I would like to say that I've determined that the PCM is the culprit. The clicking noise, the dead in the water fuel issue, and no doubt the "no bus" speedo issue is the PCM. In my case I traded in my old PCM to an unnamed rebuilder who in turn sent me 3 PCM's in a row all with separate issues of their own, and 2 that caused problems shortly after running for short periods of time. I initially had a P0753 code and traced wiring and fault to the PCM. Beware of where you buy a PCM, check the BBB (Better Business Bureau) for complaints, I'm now on my fifth PCM from the same place, last one ran for 3-4 minutes before completely cutting out fuel system, then speedo started blinking upon restart, going into "no bus" after that. Although going to a dealer is an expensive option, buying one from a dealer will pretty much guarrantee a good PCM, with no issues.
