Default big problems! computer? electrical?

I've got a 1999 Durango 5.9L 4x4 SLT

When I started my truck, the ABS light came on. Then, shortly after the gauges ALL go to zero, fuel light comes on, check engine and in the odometer/trip reading area it reads "no bus". All the gauges don't register and my overhead trip computer reads fine in all modes EXCEPT DTE(distance to empty).

Any idea what happened and how to fix?

Any and all ideas welcome!!!

sounds like an electrical problem, start by checking all the electrical connectors (specifically at the PCM) and the grounds, the no bus message points to a loss of connection to the PCM

How much was the PCM?
Is it user replaceable or a shop/dealer install?

No, that's the PDC (Power Distribution Center). This is where the fuses are located for main power distribution.

What we are talking about is the PCM and this is the main computer that runs the vehicle. It is located on the passenger side half way down the inner fender under the hood. There is usually 3 plugs going into it. You can search on ebay for one that is for your year and motor.

I found one for you that you can pre-programed with the company for $185 shipped to your house: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...Q5fAccessories
