Gauge cluster says 'no bus'

Ok I am back to square one, got the speedo fixed by holding down the trip button while turning the ignition to on, let it run the sequence then start the truck. The gauges go crazy for a minute and then everything went back to the way it was.
Now as to the original problem, i found the wire that you have to wiggle that makes the entire gauge cluster die and say no bus. I will go take some pictures of it now and hopefully you guys can tell me what the heck it is.

I know I double posted, but thought I would get more attention to the current problem rather than the speedo stuck issue that is now resolved.
The problem seems to be under the glove box.
If I wiggle the little green wire on the right I can make the gauge cluster, radio and interior lights die and turn back on. I can do the same with those wires on the left but it is much easier to do with the one on the right. What is that little canister the wire is connected to? Of course the bad connection seems to be at the far end of the wire, not the visible end.
