Some aftermarket alarms won't have a starter kill.
I used to install car alarms and on some occasions I would have customers ask not
to have the starter kill installed, and not to have the shock sensor installed.
They just wanted the keyless entry/doors armed/parking light/dome light.
If you do have an aftermarket alarm w/ starter kill you can simply cut out the starter
kill relay and reattach the starter wire. That way you don't have to remove the whole alarm.
Or just try replacing the starter kill relay, sometimes the relays go bad.
To access the starter kill/alarm pull off the plastic panel under the steering wheel (not steering column).
Should be about 3 bolts (8mm?) on the under side of the dash holding on the plastic cover.
