more annoying questions from me...lol the headlight lenses are yellowed on the truck and i'm looking for feedback on aftermarket clear/euro style headlights. i'm not interested in the rice rocket look, just want to see if there are any decent clear replacements.
they are not broken but i have never had luck with the yellowed lenses on any of my ford's. i will give it a try and see what happens. any good places to get the depo lenses? i would like to swap to the clear's and convert to hid
If you have the tools and products available, it will take some time (I can spend up to 2 hours on BMW headlights). If you don't have access to the equipment, you might be better off with new lenses.
I wet sand with 1500 grit and move to 2500 grit paper, Then, 3M compound and a wool pad on a rotary polisher until the lenses are clear. Follow that with a good polish like Meguiar's DACP or Menzerna and you're done.
