the switch was several years ago, as far as being a tank...... i dont know if it will compare to my truck. we just had all that record breaking snow here and i had my truck going through 4 feet of snow plus the drifts without too much issue. had to work for it in some spots but never got into anything i couldnt get out of.

i am looking for a decent all terrain tread, dont need crazy, i have my truck for that, just somethign that will get the job done

I bought a set of Firestone Destination AT's last time. I really like them. I got them through Just Tires (but I dont think they sell them anymore) and were like right around $520 with road hazzard and everything. You can see them in my sig. Oh, their 245/70/16. I think I will be going bigger next time.

I did the Uniroyal liberator this time on the truck to try em out because of the price Walmart was asking. $707.07 out the door with all the goodies so I did it.

I have the 31 Firestone AT and ran them this winter and I loved them. Excellent tire, got em almost new on c-list for 200 all four. But now my speedo is off.
I used to be a fan too of the BFG AT, used to wear like iron and the snow and wet traction was amazing. Now with the softer compound they dont last and they suck for corners.

Right now I'm running some off brand tires that were on when I bought it, they are 235/65/17. I'm in the process of ordering some new wheels and tires and am considering Toyo open country A/Ts or Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's
